Resolution is a term for a number of processes that can be used to resolve a conflict, dispute or claim. Litigation is one way to resolve a dispute legally, but there are other ways to settle issues as well which are referred to as alternative dispute resolution methods, or ADR for short. Two such alternatives in which I have extensive background are mediation and collaborative law.
My approach to each person's case is individualized and strategic. When negotiation is the right option, I will pursue a resolution that way. In some cases, however, going to trial is necessary. I am a skilled trial lawyer who can take on any opposition and be your representative for a just and fair resolution of the case.
Whenever possible, I will encourage a less costly and more advantageous alternative dispute resolution process such as mediation or collaboration prior to going to trial. These alternative dispute resolution processes are less expensive and faster than the traditional legal process, and in many cases can provide the parties with greater participation in reaching a solution, as well as more control over the outcome of the dispute. In addition, alternative dispute resolution processes are less formal and have more flexible rules than the trial court.
